Hydrodemolition

The conventional method of removing damaged concrete using percussion instruments is an extremely aggressive and time-consuming method. It causes the concrete to crack and damages the reinforcement. It generally requires additional work such as cleaning the reinforcement from concrete residues. With the hydrodemolition technology used by Conjet robots, it is possible to remove damaged concrete quickly and without causing further damage, such as microfracturing caused by percussion. Conjet built the first equipment of its kind to be approved by the National Roads Administration of Sweden and Norway in 1985.
